Making it make sense
Control-F helps people make sense of digital evidence in order to find the truth. They offer training courses for digital forensic examiners. They have a great deal of experience working with law enforcement, private sector and academic customers both in the UK and overseas.
Established by Managing Director, Kevin Mansell, Control-F is an ever-growing team of people with extremely high standards when it comes to the content, delivery and administration of their training courses.
The business has invested significantly in its team and its operations to enable it to continue meeting the fast-paced and evolving needs of the digital forensics industry.
Rolling back the clock to 2017
Back in 2017, Kevin needed to recruit a member of staff who had been working for the business during his university degree.
“Keeping HR Simple were recommended to me by the owner of a recruitment consultancy whose offices were in the same building as ours. I had a face to face meeting with KHRS and it was clear to me that they knew their stuff and would be more than capable of helping us handle the recruitment process.”
Katherine and the Keeping HR Simple team not only supported Control-F with finding the new employee but also then updated the company’s HR documentation to ensure it was as up-to-date and compliant as it could be.
Seven years and counting
Over the last 7 years of working together, Katherine has become part of the wider Control-F team.
She has supported Kevin with a number of projects, issues and challenges, introducing an online HR administration system to make managing personnel files, holidays, sickness etc easier and supporting with a number of recruitment campaigns.
Every new member of the team has been through a rigorous recruitment process with Kevin and Katherine, ensuring that they not only bring the required skills and experience but also that they understand the company culture they’re joining.
Katherine has provided several training sessions to the team over the years aimed at supporting them and their communication skills. She has also been asked to facilitate team sessions working on their company culture.
On an ongoing basis, the Control-F team are able to contact Katherine at any time with queries and she supports them with advice and guidance on how best to proceed.
Kevin is a regular attender at Keeping HR Simple’s webinars and masterclasses. They provide him with an opportunity to stay informed about HR-related issues and changing affecting his business.
